SWEDEN: THE GRAVEYARD OF FEMINISM

In 2014, Sweden became the world's first country to have a feminist government. The main goal of this feminist agenda was to increase the female representation in the government sector and to reduce the gender pay gap. There's no doubt that feminism did some wonders to the Swedish society. The parental leave granted to Swedish employees is quite generous. Parents are allowed almost 18 months off-work with 80% of full pay (mostly). But the government failed to creation a 50% women representation in every single profession, proving that some aspects of feminism are against science. In managing positions, men still outnumber women. More than 90% of top bosses are men, showing that men are naturally better-suited for the leading positions. In media too we see more men than women. This shows that feminism, though partially successfully, still has a lot to learn from experience. Professor Jordan B. Peterson became a strong critic of feminism and the feminist agenda of Scandinavian countries. In many of his interviews, he mentioned how the failed feminist model of gender equality showed the error of feminist advocates and proved once again and scientific data doesn't back the propaganda of gender equality. How does the gender equality paradox proves a basic flaw in feminism? Men and women have intrinsic biological differences. Men are more prone to violence while women have a better sense of compassion. Men lean towards harder jobs. That's why they get paid a lot for their strength. Women don't opt for harder jobs and they are paid less for not performing as much as men do. It's not an insult to a woman if she doesn't want to do a full-time job and wishes to have a family. But it's unfair for a company to be compelled to hire women who don't want to do a full-time job but demand equal pay as men.

When the recent coronavirus pandemic hit the world, the entire Europe reacted to it poorly, resulting in thousands of deaths in Italy, Spain and France. United States of America made the worst decisions and became the most-affected country in the world. But Sweden did something that was quite weird. The feminist government of Sweden reacted to COVID-19 just like they normally react to basic biology; they ignored it. The thought there was no need to implement a strict lockdown as the herd immunity would take care of the pandemic by its own. But this experiment backfired and now Sweden is suffering from the ignorant decisions made by its feminist statesmen. The ramifications of ignoring science were quite brutal and now Sweden has more deaths than expected. But the complete scenario is far more darker than you might have expected. The coronavirus pandemic didn't crush the country's healthcare system because its older citizens used to die quickly from this disease and didn't have time to be admitted to the ICU! People's quick deaths and not some sort of administrative ingenuity saved the Swedish hospitals from collapsing. But the people of Sweden aren't to blame for this. One-third of this beautiful country self-isolated voluntarily. The people of Sweden do have a sense of honor and responsibility. 

According to Reuters, the country's central bank expects a 4.5% shrink in the Swedish economy this year. Sweden gained nothing economically from refusing to shut down the country, as per an expert. Even the country's unemployment rate rose from 7% in March to 9% in May. On the other hand, Denmark didn't see that much increase in unemployment.

As of June 8, Sweden had reported more than 73,000 coronavirus infections and more than 5,400 deaths — higher than all of the other Nordic countries combined.

Just like their experiment with feminism and gender equality, Sweden ignored the teachings of science during this pandemic. In April, some 2,000 scientists had pleaded the government to impose a country-wide lockdown. But these requests fell on deaf feminist ears. Some researchers have compared Denmark and Sweden with each other because these two Nordic countries are quite similar. They've found that the Danish strategy to bring down coronavirus has been far more effective than the Swedish one. Therefore, the world needs to put its head out of their asses and stop relying on the failed concept of herd immunity. The world needs to follow the instructions of WHO regarding this matter, impose strict lockdown and increase the number of daily tests. Feminism isn't the key to success in near future. Like communism and pan-Islamism, it's a failed concept that can never work.
