LIES OF P. N. OAK

The House of God in Islam at present-day Mecca (Saudi Arabia)

Was K'abah a Hindu temple? Were Muhammad's ancestors Hindus? Is the term "Christianity" a distorted form of "Krishna-niti"? These and many other lies were the fabrication of a certain Indian journalist P. N. Oak (1917-2007 AD). He was a Hindu fundamentalist and believed in envisioning the entire history of Vedanta.

Oak claimed that Mecca and Vatican were actually Hindu temples thereby implying that Islam and Christianity are mere derivations of the Indian religion. Oak's claims are not taken seriously and he faced serious insult when the Indian Supreme Court dismissed his appeal to declare Taj Mahal as a Hindu temple constructed to honor Shiva.

As for K'abah, Oak claimed that the Meccans at the time of Muhammad were Hindus as evident from the poetry of his uncle Abu Jahl 'Amr ibn Hisham, recorded in the Turkish manuscript of Siyar al-Ukul, compiled on the orders of the Ottoman emperor Selim around 1742 AD. He claimed that an archaeological finding in Kuwait had unearthed a Ganesh statue with a golden plate and Abu Jahl's verses were found inscribed upon it. The link I gave you in the very beginning of this article does not mention Abu Jahl rather he was later included in an already-spurious tale for point-scoring.

Aside from the fact that the entire story if completely bullshit and not even worthy of dedicated rebuttal (I'm just refuting it out of boredom), there are some serious problems with Oak's abominable pamphlet Was K'abah a Hindu temple? The points below may be of interest if you are not a conceited member of the Arya Samaj sect of Hinduism.

⦁ Sultam Mahmud I was the Ottoman monarch in 1742 AD, not Selim III who began his reign in 1789 AD. I believe Oak has chosen Selim III to serve as the king in his fairy-tale because the emperor was a lover of poetry.

⦁ Abu Jahl 'Amr ibn Hisham was not an uncle of Prophet Muhammad. This is a fact even a retard con comprehend. Abu Lahab and Abu Talib were his uncles, Abu Jahl and Abu Sufyan were not. Abu Jahl belonged to the clan of Mughirah while the Apostle was a member of the Hashim family.

⦁ There are no historical/archaeological signs of Hindu presence in India. But Oak shamelessly claims that his co-religionists happened to build an entire temple in Mecca, a city where they had not a single adherent. Oak moronically assumed that every pagan/heathen cult in the human history was somehow related to or served as an offshoot of Hinduism.

Westminster Abbey (Oak has also claimed that the Stone Hedge, Westminster Abbey and the Vatican were all actually Hindu temples)

⦁ The poem Oak has quoted in his pamphlet is not in Arabic. In fact, the alleged author of the actual (but fabricated) Siya al-Ukul al-Asma'i (an early Abbasid era Muslim scholar) did not write that book. One can consult Ibn Nadim's al-Fihrist and there is no mention of the book Oak spuriously attributed to al-Asma'i. I have seen Hindus trying to defend Oak's claims online without a shred of embarrassment when the poem quoted by him is obviously not Arabic.
Kafavomal fikra min ulumin Tab asayru
Kaluwan amataul Hawa was Tajakhru
We Tajakhayroba udan Kalalwade-E Liboawa
Walukayanay jatally, hay Yauma Tab asayru
Wa Abalolha ajabu armeeman MAHADEVA
Manojail ilamuddin minhum wa sayattaru
Wa Sahabi Kay-yam feema-Kamil MINDAY Yauman
Wa Yakulum no latabahan foeennak Tawjjaru
Massayaray akhalakan hasanan Kullahum
Najumum aja- at Summa gabul HINDU
⦁ Abu Jahl died in the Battle of Badr (633-34 AD) and the alleged book was compiled in the eighteenth century AD. Doesn't the difference of a thousand years show Oak's a complete asshole or prove that the notorious polytheist actually wrote a poem praising Shiva and King Vikram?

Artist's impression of one of the mightiest Indian gods i.e. Mahadeva Shiva
Artist's impression of King Vikram, one of the most respected ancient legendary Indian monarchs, equal only to Bharata in grandeur and progress

⦁ There is no such book as Siyar al-Ukul in the Galatasary Lisesi Library (Istanbul). I personally believe that Oak has mistaken some German-Lebanese publication for the well-celebrated Mu'allaqat-e-Saba'ah (The Seven Hanging Ones [Poems]). The Orientalists who accuse Muhammad of plagiarizing the initial verses of the Chapter of Moon, make more sense than Oak. And I am saying this while stating how dumb those Orientalists sound.

Thus, there is no solid proof to show that K'abah was a Hindu temple. It is rather fanciful of some extremist Hindu brothers to go ahead even two steps further and claim that Hijr-e-Aswad (Black Stone) was worshiped as Shiva's penis symbol (Shiva-Lingum). [A commentator below made me realize that this word doesn't mean penis] Just look at the Black Stone. You can Google as many images as you want. It does not look like a Linga. Some idiots even claim that the Black Stone looks like a vagina. There are some pictures of the Black Stone you can see. Please stare at them for a few moments and then tell me in the comments whether they actually look like male/female genitalia or people really like to exaggerate a lot on Internet.

Oak is such a simpleton that he refers to words such as Bakri Eid and Eidgah as Arabic! Well, he is one of the many conspiracy theorists who believe in several stupid and illogical things such as Beyoncé is a zombie, MJ is alive, world's rules by lizard people or vaccines spread some unknown diseases. Just like science had proved flat-earthers and global-warming-deniers wrong, it has proved morons such as Oak wrong as well.

  1. Abu jahl was indeed uncle of Mohammad. Both were from quraysh clan. You yourself mention in other post on your website
