10 Interesting Facts About Family Guy

Interesting Facts about Family Guy

(mainly a collage of gifs)

Glenn Quagmire:

Quagmire’s dad, Ida Davis, “is” a woman. He changed his gender and has even dated Brian the dog. Quagmire had a prostitute as a mother so we can imagine what possibly made Glen the man he is now. Who else but Quagmire?

Brian Griffin:

Brian has a human son called Dylan Flannigan. He is an actor and once Brian damaged his relations with him when he tried to use Dylan to advance his career in the world of literature. Brian is the author of a really crappy book "Wish it, Want it, Do it". He is a big show-off and mostly likes to boast of his deficient knowledge with catchphrases such as: "Mark Twain's real name was Samuel Clemens."

Megatron Griffin:

Meg’s name is actually Megatron. Lois intended to christian her first child as Megan but Peter thought otherwise and changed Megan to the name of the famous robot from Transformers. She is doubtlessly the most oppressed of all Peter's acquaintances. But that's not all. She and her brother are possibly involved in incest. You can't expect Seth MacFarlane to treat this sensitive matter delicately.

Stewart Griffin:

Stewie has caused the Big Bang. He and Brian were fighting inside his Time Machine when it went all nuts and suddenly they found themselves thrown out of the space-time continuum. Stewie’s return pad emitted shock waves that began the process of the creation of the universe. Stewie has been proclaimed a homosexual like it wasn't already apparent from his unnatural inclinations.

Christopher Griffin:

Chris was supposed to be the lead. Although he seems creepy and is actually a dimwit (like when he intentionally tried to give himself a nosebleed), he is internally sensitive and caring. Peter once tried to marry Chris. Lois’s father Carter Pewterschmidt declared Chris as his heir and Peter wanted to get on his good sides so he intended to marry his own son and become the shadow master of Carter’s wealth when the old business tycoon dies. Gladly, Lois intervened and stopped the stupid ceremony.

Thomas Tucker:

Tom Tucker is Peter’s ex-stepdad. Once Peter’s mother, bored to death of his loneliness, started dating the famous TV anchor from Channel 5, Thomas Tucker. So he became Peter’s stepdad and was a fun man for the man-child when Peter’s moon decided she was ditching him. Tom Tucker has a son Jake whose face is upside-down.

Cleveland Brown Senior:

Cleveland is Peter’s original friend. Glen Quagmire was actually Peter’s rival in the beginning as he too wanted to get “giggity” with Lois. Joe Swanson befriended Peter after he moved to their neighborhood in the Spooner Sreet. Cleveland's wife was boned by Quagmire after which he married another black woman. He owned a deli and temporarily moved from Family Guy to his self-based show.

Peter Griffin:

Peter killed his pseudo-father Francis accidentally. He was trying to amuse his guests at Francis’ birthday party when he fell down the stairs and crushed the old man’s bones. It is revealed after his death that Peter’s real dad is Mickey McFinnigan, an Irish guy.

Seth MacFarlane:

Seth MacFarlane, the wizard behind the trick we all enjoy (and also the man who came up with Ted and Ted 2), narrowly avoided death when missed his flight on 9/11. He was late because of last night's hangover and failed to board the plane. He had also worked for Hanna-Barbera Productions. His sister Rachel was the original voice actor for Meg Griffin. Seth has hosted Oscars where he performed poorly. As much he's adored by his fans, he's more haters and critics than that.

Did you know?

Some episodes of Family Guy portray alternate timelines. Once Stewie created his evil twin who killed the real baby. Once Stewie tried to revive Brian, changed the history and removed himself. Once he intended to break up Peter and Lois before they could conceive him and was born in England. Then he changed the timeline again and got erased once more. He also got shot by his own alternate version when he had a NDE. So we are constantly switching between various timelines.
